iocolor launched in 2001 to bring leading-edge digital technologies to book publishing from our base in Seattle.

For the first few years, we were strictly an in-house component of Marquand Books,
applying our hearts and technology to some of the most creative museum publications in the industry.

Then we started getting calls from printers about the quality and speed of our
processes. They asked: "Can you do this for our clients?"

"Sure," we said. And began putting our passion into books for publishers and printers
around the world.

And you do what?

When you work with iocolor, you partner with a team of experts that specialize in
creating and converting images made with digital cameras, scanning at the absolute
highest level, retouching and layout with the latest software, and proofing images that
print exactly as they should when it's time to put ink on paper.

Our team members have been at the forefront of international color management since 1994. But as with all of our methods, our color management knowledge is tempered by long years in the trenches. We work on your book with the eye and attention to detail we gained as fine craftsmen in the graphic arts.

iocolor is a small firm that delivers personal attention for every client. We excel at solving the complexities of high quality projects and meeting your needs for projects

The bottom line.

We care about books. We could make a lot more money working on marketing materials and junk mail, but we love books. We understand the difficulties in bringing a book to life, the financial risk, and the pressure to get every word, every image, just right.
